Hudson River is a very safe place where you can enjoy various water sports, including kayaking and stand-up paddle. But there are some places where the waters are crowded with numerous kayaks. Such places are not recommended if your aim is to brush up your kayaking skills.
Kids must be accompanied by an adult. If their parent will not be present, the parent must sign an waiver to designate the adult who will be. Ages 11-17 can ride alone with an adult on premises. Ages 3-10 must ride a double kayak with an adult. Ages 0-2 stay on land with an adult.
